Ginny Weasely’s character may not be as emphasized as Ron or Hermione, but her role is rather pivotal to Harry’s character development. Ginny always is an extroverted likable character that share battles and triumphs with Harry. She becomes more of a main character after she is possessed by Tom Riddle’s journal. Ginny begins with a massive crush on Harry, only unbeknownst to her he later returns the feelings. Harry does progress through a lot of feelings through out the novels and especially, growing and become responsible for the people he cares about. We see Harry change in his feelings for Ginny from liking and jealousy to love and consideration. Before Harry journeys to find the remaining horcruxes, he ends his relationship with Ginny, because he is believes death might be eminent in his future and does not want Ginny to be captured or tortured by Voldemort. However, Ginny is never far from his thoughts. In the final battle, Ginny proves herself to be a courageous dueler. Ultimately, Harry and Ginny end up married with children.
